Accessibility statement
This statement describes the accessibility of the Pulseflare web interface under the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG, the national implementation of the European Accessibility Act) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA.
Scope
This statement covers the web interface at this address: the public pages and the signed-in area with the overview, monitor list and detail, incident feed and settings.
Conformance status
This application is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. The qualification does not stem from known violations but from the extent of testing: a full manual audit by an independent body has not yet taken place.
How this was assessed
On every run of the test suite, axe-core checks twenty page states automatically against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA. The test fails on any violation, regardless of severity. In addition, keyboard operation, visible focus, target sizes, the WCAG 1.4.12 text-spacing overrides and rendering at 320 pixels wide are covered. In September 2026 the whole interface was additionally reviewed in-house against WCAG 2.2 AA, in its source code and in a browser; the defects found were corrected, and the application's tests now fail when a scrolling area cannot be reached by keyboard, when text is set in a grey too pale to read, or when a button's accessible name no longer contains its visible label. Charts are presentation only and each carries a table of the same values; colour is never the only means of conveying information. Since September 2026 the tests also fail when a form marks a field required without explaining the mark.
Content not fully assessed
Known limitations: charts with eight or more series are hard to tell apart by their lines alone. Every chart therefore carries a table of the same values, opened by default from five series onwards. Screenshots of monitored pages have no descriptive alternative text — what a given page shows is not known to this application.
Feedback and contact
Have you encountered a barrier, or do you need content in an accessible format? Contact the operator of this application. We will respond as soon as we can.
Enforcement procedure
If your feedback does not lead to a satisfactory resolution, you can contact the Marktüberwachungsstelle der Länder für die Barrierefreiheit von Produkten und Dienstleistungen (MLBF), the German market surveillance authority responsible under the BFSG.
